Past Events:


Rogue Artist Ensemble’s Señor Plummer’s Final Fiesta opened on October 12th, and with an extension, closed on November 18th! It also became Ovation Recommended!

Nathan C. Jones: A Love Story?, a new solo musical written by Brendan Milburn & Vanessa Stewart, based on an idea by Amir, opened up the blank theatre’s 28th Season of Living Room Series, and was in such demand, they had to add an extra performance!

Come Back! became the Season 13 champion of Serial Killers at Sacred Fools. To see the winning final episode, click here.

Wood Boy Dog Fish, a show by Rogue Artists Ensemble & Chelsea Sutton, opened at the Garry Marshall Theatre on May 18th, and closed on June 24th.

Akuma-Shin opened on March 30th at Sacred Fools, and closed on April 28th.


Amir returned to Rockwell:Table & Stage on April 30th, with The Unforgiven.  Special Guest Lauren LoGrasso opened the show.

Amir curated and co-produced an After Orlando night at Sacred Fools, and raised $1160 for The Pulse of Orlando.

Old Man in a big Car, starring Paul Dooley, and directed by Dan Castellaneta, had a limited run from November 4th-20th. For info, click here.

Amir made his TV debut on 2 Broke Girls on December 10th, 2015!

Amir starred to critical acclaim as Peter Lorre in the world premiere comedy “Something Truly Monstrous,” by Jeff Tabnick, directed by Daniel Henning, which ran at the blank from October 2nd-November 8th.

The Behavior of Broadus was nominated for 9 Ovation Awards, including Best Production (Intimate Theatre) and Best Acting Ensemble in a Musical! The Burglars of Hamm took home the award for Best Book, with co-Burglar Brendan Milburn taking home the award for Best Score.

The Behavior of Broadus won 5 awards at the 1st Annual Stage Raw (former LA Weekly) Awards (including Best Musical Direction, John Ballinger; Best Musical Score, Matt Almos, Carolyn Almos, Jon Beauregard, Albert Dayan & Brendan Milburn; Best Choreography, Ken Roht; Best Musical; and Best Leading Man, Hugo Armstrong), and was featured in American Theatre Magazine!

Amir starred in the hit show, Clown Bar, at red white & bluezz, which started as a January show, but then extended through February.

The Behavior of Broadus received 7 L.A. Drama Critics Circle Awards Nominations! This included Best Production and Best Ensemble. Composers Matt Almos and Brendan Milburn won the Award for Best Musical Score.

The Behavior of Broadus made a couple of ‘Best of’ Lists for 2014, including LA Observed and KCRW.


The Behavior of Broadus by Burglars of Hamm kicked off Sacred Fools’ 18th season!  Produced in association with Center Theatre Group, the show opened September 12th and ran till October 25th, with an extension!

Head-Tie is an Official Selection for the 10th film festival LesBiGayTrans of Paraguay!!!!!

Head-Tie was accepted into the International Film Awards in Berlin!!!

Amir can be seen as a series regular on the webseries Unicorn Plan-ItSeason 2 has already aired!

Noah and Jonah with Four Clowns took place at the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica July 9-18.

Four Clowns went to NYC to perform at La MaMa from May 23rd - June 1st.

Roald Dahl’s The Magic Finger with MainStreet Theatre Company opened on May 2nd and closed on May 18th. It was Ovation Recommended.

Amir Levi: Happiness was a one-night only successful event at Rockwell Table & Stage on April 29th at 7:30pm.

Head-Tie was not only accepted into the Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival in Muskogee, Oklahoma, but it also won the award for Best Avante-Garde/Alternative Short Film!

Head-Tie was accepted into the Imperfectu: International Film & Gender Studies Festival in Tijuana, MX.

Inherit the Wind with Wasatch Theatrical Ventures opened on February 8th and closed on March 16th.


Four Clowns Presents Somewhere Like Earth

opened on Saturday, December 7th for very limited public performances.

Ordinary Days opened on September 6th and closed on September 27th.  For info on the production, go here.

Absolutely Filthy opened at Sacred Fools on January 25th, 2013, and closed on March 10, 2013.  It was supposed to close a week prior, but because of rave reviews and sold-out houses, it extended!  It returned to LA on June 21st as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival! Not only did it win Top of the Fringe and Best Comedy, it also got a “Best of Fringe” extension!

Amir & Haviland Stillwell performed a concert at Rockwell LA on April 23rd at 8pm. It was a completely sold-out show, and they had to hold the house for 45 minutes to make sure everyone was seated!

The Phantom Tollbooth, with MainStreet Theatre Company, opened on March 30th and closed on April 14th.


Robin Hood opened at South Coast Repertory on November 3rd and ran till November 19th! 

The Chrome Warrior (with Amir performing the roles he played in NYC) opened October 6th and played till November 3rd at the Lyric-Hyperion.

The People Vs. Friar Laurence with IOTA Theatre (and Amir playing Mercutio!) opened July 27th and ran till August 26th.

The Merry Wives of Windsor with The Porters of Hellsgate opened June 15th and ran till July 22nd!

Amir performed in Sarah Ruhl’s “Melancholy Play,” with Theatrum Elysium.

Amir danced in “Hit the Ground Running,” an evening of choreography by thesis students at UCLA on April 13th and 14th. 

Amir performed a solo concert on February 22,2012 at 8:30pm at The Coterie LA, located at the Renaissance Hotel on Hollywood & Highland.

Amir performed with Coeurage Theatre in Lanford Wilson’s Balm in Gilead.

Amir’s solo show, Male Matriarch, made its west coast debut March 6th and 7th with the help of Alive Theatre and the Long Beach Playhouse.

Four Clowns was at South Coast Repertory Feb.17-19.


Amir performed his solo show, Male Matriarch, in the 15th Annual New York City Fringe Festival!  Male Matriarch is the original and reclaimed title of Te Busco. Check out the Male Matriarch website!

Amir reprised his role as Nervous Clown in the award-winning 4 Clowns on a nationwide tour that included the Minnesota Fringe Festival and the San Francisco Fringe Festival, with the homecoming stretch at Sacred Fools in LA September 30th-October 28th.


Amir danced in the MFA2 Dance Concert, Watch This, at UCLA!


Amir played Sigmund Freud in Urban Theatre Movement’s production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, by Stephen Adly Guirgis, at The Company of Angels in Downtown LA. Not only did the show receive amazing press, it was also named one of LA’s top 10 Revivals of 2010!

Amir participated in the Epic Movie contest for Sprint.  Although his video didn’t win, you can still watch Epic Pick-Up Line and enjoy it!

Amir returned to Zombie Joe’s Underground to play Sebastian in the pirate musical version of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night!

Amir performed with Alive Theatre as part of the Long Beach Poppin Play Festival.

Amir performed with his fellow classmates of the Atlantic Theater Conservatory LA Program in their spring showcase on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 4th and 5th, 2010, at 8pm.
